For many people, the concept of sustainability is directly related to environmental impact. However, for Heincke, this word implies much more, extending to 3 spheres: environmental, social and economic.

Environmental sustainability

This implies that a company adjusts to the cycles of nature, that is, that all processes from the acquisition of raw materials to the delivery to the final consumer are environmentally responsible.

Social sustainability

It seeks the well-being of all the people who participate in the value chain. This is achieved with fair business practices, the promotion of equality and inclusion in the business, among others. At Heincke, we seek to grant benefits such as stability and support in access to credit to the agricultural producers with whom we work.

Economic sustainability

This implies that the business is economically profitable, so that it survives over time and continues to generate a positive impact.

The triple impact is born from the union of these three types of sustainability. For this reason, companies like Heincke that are responsible with the environment and society, and are economically sustainable, are triple impact companies. Every year, interest in these business models grows. In fact, worldwide 66% of consumers are willing to spend more on sustainable products, and brands committed to sustainability have an average growth of 4% per year, much higher than the 1% of traditional businesses.
